Bakery China 2016 took place this month at the Shanghai New Int’l Expo Center. More than 1,600 exhibitors from 22 countries displayed the latest and greatest in food processing innovations to nearly 100,000 attendees from 25+ countries. FoodTools was present with commercial portioning machines and company representatives to serve as industry experts.

BAKER CHINA 2016 – TRADE SHOW REPORT

Bakery China is Asia Pacific’s leading bakery focused event bringing together suppliers and equipment manufactures from the entire bakery supply chain. From ingredients, to portioning and processing equipment, to packaging, everything that a baking facility could need can be found at Bakery China.

The FoodTools booth included 4 machines offering solutions for cake crumb base packing (CS-7C) to round cake cutting (CS-4AAC & CS-2000) to an incredibly versatile round and sheet portioning machine with ultrasonic blades (ACCUSONIC-10UTS-2). Each solution caught the eye of different bakery professionals and the CS-4AAC unit was delivered to a customer straight from the trade show floor.

Several hundred industry professionals visited FoodTools and bakeries producing mousse cake, cheesecake, ice cream cake, and other dessert products were very interested in discussing portioning solutions. The ACCUSONIC-10UTS-2 was a popular unit with ultrasonic cutting blades and an intelligent vision system, bringing flexibility and accuracy to the portioning process.
