Position: Divider-Insert Cutter Operator

We are seeking a Paper Room Shear Operator (Divider-Insert Cutter Operator) with a strong desire to succeed and grow in a manufacturing environment. A Divider-Insert Cutter Operator uses a variety of tools and equipment to cut, bunn-tie, carton and palletize finished goods to specifications. This involves reading and interpreting jobs, raw materials and written instructions. To ensure quality, an eye for detail is needed in a highly repetitive work environment.

The Paper Room Shear Operator will be responsible for working within all procedure and safety requirements of FoodTools. Daily activities will be scheduled to support order/customer ship dates. As this process involves food contact paper, hair and beard nets are mandatory as well as great personal hygiene. The Paper Room Shear Operator is required to perform but not limited to the following;

  • Must be a self-starter that is able to work unsupervised.
  • Accurate basic math skills.
  • Basic technical knowledge, manual dexterity, good eyesight, as well as the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Possess the ability to follow work instructions consistently, every time.
  • Ability to lift 45 pound cartons for palletizing finished goods.

Work Experience Requirements

  • Some type of manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Attitude and aptitude trumps everything else!!!!!!

Education Preferred

  • High school diploma or GED

Position: Field Service Technician

We are seeking a Field Service Technician with a strong desire to succeed and grow in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate for this position will have a strong desire to support and ensure that all of our customers are successful in the deploy, training, use, and maintenance of all of their FoodTools equipment.

About the candidate:

  • Must have a positive attitude and experience in face-to-face interaction with customers from the operator level through management levels.
  • Must be detail oriented and willing to provide a high level of detailed service records.
  • This individual must have an excellent work performance history, and a mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 90% of the time both domestically and internationally.
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to complete a root cause analysis and transition that into a correction and implementation plan.
  • Must have experience in scheduling his/her own travel arrangements and remain within a reasonable budget to do so.

Work Experience Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of Field Service experience. Experience with industrial food equipment is a plus.
  • Mechanical and Electrical aptitude a must.
  • Controls programming and/or troubleshooting experience a plus.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications in order to troubleshoot and ultimately address service issues.
  • Computer literacy with working knowledge of Allen Bradley and Rockwell Automation software.
