IBIE 2016 was a huge success for the baking industry and FoodTools. More than 23,000 attendees filled the Las Vegas Convention Center for the record breaking IBIE event. IBIE 2016 RECAP
The FoodTools booth was a bustle of energy during the four day convention. FoodTools representatives from around the world were on hand to meet with bakers to discuss cake cutting, tortilla slicing, biscotti production, cheese and dairy portioning, and more. The conversations ranged from startup-bakery operations to fully inline solutions and everything in between.
Many clients stopped by to give feedback about their growing production lines and take a look at new ideas to boost their efficiency through automation. We fielded questions about preventative maintenance, optimum layouts, and accessories to handle new products. Several FoodTools engineers were also on hand to answer custom design questions and brainstorm innovative ideas with bakers.
In addition to discussing new and ongoing business opportunities, IBIE was a great time to catch up with good friends from around the industry. Our FoodTools representatives have been in the business for many years and have built great relationships with our clients. With so many people to see, IBIE can seem more like a family reunion than a trade show and business conference.
