¿LA MÁQUINA NECESITA UN CAMBIO DE ACEITE?
Here are the two most common indicators that your machine needs an oil change.
1. La plataforma de la máquina se mueve esporádicamente, algunas veces más rápido y otras veces más lentamente y dando un golpe al volver a su posición. Es posible que el sistema de lubricación se vea comprometido.
2. Si puede ver alguna burbuja de aire en las líneas de lubricante o en el depósito de lubricante que se encuentra a un costado de la máquina, eso puede significar que el sistema de lubricación está comprometido y las burbujas de aire están atascadas en las líneas y en el cilindro hidráulico.
THE FIX
So what do we do to fix a problematic oil system?
- Remove the air bubbles and readjust the oil level
- Change the oil completely
Special Note: Refer to the machine manual for step by step instructions for all maintenance procedures. Maintenance should only be done by a qualified professional on your staff, or by a trained equipment technical from a reputable service company.
Entonces ¿qué hacemos para arreglar el sistema de lubricación? El primer paso es sacar las tapas del depósito de lubricante. Con la máquina desenchufada, mueva la mesa desde el frente hacia la parte posterior y nuevamente hacia el frente. Esto debería permitir que cualquier burbuja de aire atascada en el sistema se mueva hacia arriba, hacia los depósitos y afuera. Continúe haciendo esto hasta que hayan desaparecido las burbujas de aire. Asegúrese de volver a llenar el sistema de lubricación sin llenarlo de más. Revise el manual de la máquina.
Si este procedimiento no resuelve el problema, puede cambiar todo el lubricante. Saque los conectores rápidos del cilindro principal y retire todo el lubricante. Pida a FoodTools el lubricante mineral correcto para la máquina y llene el sistema con el lubricante nuevo, mueva la mesa hacia adelante y hacia atrás para extraer las burbujas de aire, ¡y pruébela!
Special Note: Be sure to use the manufacturers recommended oil in your machine. FoodTools stocks the food grade mineral oil that we use in all of our equipment and can reference your machine’s serial number to confirm the oil and quantity and ship it to you for preventative maintenance, or overnight for emergencies. Do not risk using another kind of oil in the system, it could create more damage and result in an extended offline machine in your production line!
In addition to troubleshooting a machine malfunction, adding a check of the oil levels and system integrity to your preventative maintenance schedule should help avoid downtown due to equipment failure.
