FoodTools has been a proud member of BEMA since 1998, supporting the baking industry through trade events, leadership conferences, and maintaining valuable relationships with equipment manufacturers and bakery buyers around the world. If you have not considered a membership in BEMA, you might be missing out.

Since 1918 BEMA has been bringing together the best bakery equipment manufacturers and allieds to share innovations, advancements, and ideas to improve the baking industry as a whole. The key beneficiaries are the bakeries themselves as BEMA members continue to focus on improving safety, sanitation, and efficiency of capital equipment built for food processing plants. Who contributes to BEMA? It’s not just manufacturers. Bakers themselves join in the discussion, sharing their challenges and opportunities so that equipment designers can incorporate innovations to solve the baker’s problems.

EVENTS

ANNUAL MEETING

The Annual Meeting is held each summer, in some pretty sweet locations. The core purpose of the Annual Meeting is to bring together the leaders of the industry to meet, network, share ideas, connect with customers, and learn about upcoming advances in safety, sanitation, and equipment design. In 2016 the Annual Meeting will be held at the Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Virginia.

WINTER SUMMIT

If a summer retreat isn’t your style, worry not, BEMA also meets each winter in the frigid Windy City. In February BEMA joins forces with the American Society of Baking to host the Winter Summit in conjunction with BakingTech. The annual event brings together equipment manufacturers and bakery owners for a weekend of networking, educational seminars, a tabletop trade show, and social events.
