Foodex 2016 the premier trade event for the food industry in the United Kingdom. Held biannually in Birmingham the exposition includes facets of food and drink processing, packaging, ingredients, and logistics to be a one stop shop for food and beverage professionals in Great Britain.
Foodex 2016 took place from April 18th to the 20th and included more than 1200 suppliers and vendors displaying their goods and services to attendees. Show organizers hosted more than 100 informational workshops with 250 industry experts to add value to the attendees experience. FoodTools sponsored a booth and was managed by the FoodTools United Kingdom team along with representatives from the FoodTools United States office.
FoodTools showcased a wide range of portioning equipment for round, sheet, and loaf slicing, entry level to high volume production, and mechanical as well as ultrasonic cutting systems. Bakers from across the United Kingdom stopped by to see the latest slicing systems in action and discussed ideas to help automate and streamline bakery production lines.
